1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuorumCI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuorumCI provides a quorum-based verification service for CI/CD pipelines. The Service executes deterministic checks across independent nodes and reports results based on consensus among those nodes.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Perform unauthorized security testing or scanning of third-party systems
  • Attempt to overwhelm, attack, or disrupt any systems (including ours)
  • Transmit malware or malicious code
  • Circumvent usage limits or abuse the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage our reputation

5. API Keys and Authentication

API keys are provided for programmatic access to the Service. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not share API keys publicly or embed them in client-side code. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or misused.

6. Payments and Billing

For paid plans:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
  • Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Usage-based charges are billed in arrears
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by QuorumCI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuorumCI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuorumCI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which QuorumCI is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
